Hi Peeps,

So I was out yesterday to grab me second cup of coffee from Starbucks(it helps that it’s only a block away… ; P). There was a firetruck that pulled up towards the end of the block and two Firemen got out and went into the condo the corner of Grant Ave. & Coast Meridian… on my way back the ambulance was there too and another firetruck showed up as well…

So as I was sipping away on my Venti Dark Roast(I had had a Venti Americano earlier w/ 3 brown sugars and honey, coffee cream and half/half) I spotted a gal coming my way so I said “Hey there…” & she responded back to me. Mind you she was chewing on bubble gum and what she said was a bit garbled… ; P

Now before any of you “Guys Who Don’t Think They Can Talk To Women And Have Them Respond Back To You” think that “Ah Yoon, you’re a stud, have movie star looks, exude uber confidence, dress to the nines AND even if you were having an off day girl would just swoon over you Yoon…”

But get this dudes! This is what I looked like… as you can see I was NOT at my very best AND still that girl still responded.

All you have to do is start saying “Hi” or “Hey there” to anyone and everyone to get over your fears. The overwhelming majority of WOMEN will not just immediately blow you off. And think on this… most extremely HOT ones will feel really really bad blowing you off on the street or in the produce department at your local supermarket… the don’t want you, YES YOU, to think that they’re a itch starting with a Capital B.

Notice I didn’t talk about going to girls and saying “Hi” and “Hey there” in the clubs. That’s a whole different beast to handle. Girls are being furiously hit on left and right all night long… if you’re ready then go for it, but this “letter” is only for those guys who worry and are fearful of girl’s reactions to them in everyday situations.

Now it goes without saying that you can’t act like a ultra shy or leering CREEP. And don’t stutter… ; P Add a smile too if you have nice teeth. And make it genuine… remember you are there making her day Brighter and Better.

And soon you will find out that saying “Hi” or “Hey there” to random girls throughout the say no matter where you are is NO big deal.

Look don’t be thinking about [insert letter here]-closing the girl, speed seduction, picking her up, wondering what to say, kino escalation, getting her phone number or anything else! You are not ready for any of that stuff yet.

After you get comfy with a simple salutation, smile and DO open doors and say “THANKS” to people you will feel better about yourself just by sheer default… then you can move on to holding mini-conversations with any woman(it’s okay to talk to other guys too, you are practicing being more social and comfortable in any environment talking to anyone around you).

Oh yeah, so here’s what I looked like yesterday(took the pic today, basically exactly the way I looked yesterday, may have had my vest zipped half way up, but whatever…)…

See, I’m sure you’re looking WAY better than this… and if not? Take a shower, get a haircut, wear nice clean clothes, freshen your breath and just go out there! If I can go out and talk to the local Starbucks Baristas(makes for good practice champ) and get random whoever is in front of me girls to respond then you simple have NO MORE EXCUSES left.

YOU CAN DO IT! Trust me I KNOW you will be able to do this bro. Look, notice how I already called you CHAMP!

Tell me about your success stories.

God Bless,
Yoon

All I need is your first & last name… keep reading…! ; P

Or you could ignore the entire post and just try this instead…

Hi Yoonite,

I was on Facebook & there was some guy who did the “Add Friend” thingy… I gotta tell you peeps, at least send a message with your “Let’s make friends” on Facebook request something as EASY as “Hi Yoon”… see, it’s not hard now is it…? I really am annoyed by the obviously cut & past messages too… aka the canned request message aka Facebook Friend SPAM… that don’t use your name.

Okay so back to that guy.

I did a Google search on him and saw this as the fourth listing…

Boy was I ever intrigued! Gotta check this out… DANG! (to see the full size, click on the image…)

You can try it yourself in this format, just make sure to replace [EnterLastNameHere] & [EnterFirstNameHere] with the actual last name & first name of whoever you’re checking out… ; P
http://fundrace.huffingtonpost.com/neighbors.php?type=name&lname=[EnterLastNameHere]&fname=[EnterFirstNameHere]

Pssst! You can Scroll down to the end for more on this site & what your fave celebrities have to do with Yoon, Facebook, this random Facebook Friend Wanna-be guy, Barack Obama & John McCain…

You can actually do a search for Campaign Contributors using these parameters(the *is required for that particular search parameter)…
==>ADDRESS:  	ZIP:*
==>CITY:*
==>LAST NAME:* 	FIRST NAME:
==>OCCUPATION:  EMPLOYER:

Wow.

Privacy? Yeah right.

Should you be scared? Well, only if you backed the wrong candidate… ; P

There is a simple way around this of course… donate less than $200. I’m assuming that once you give even in small increments and the total passes the 200 dollars mark you will be fully exposed… you and your campaign financiering… ; P

So I can check out your Political Donations Record!!!

Well, I have no idea if this is indeed the same guy… will I refuse to add him as my friend just because he may have donated $2300 to *fund Obama’s Rise to Power? Am I over-dramatizing here…? ; P

NOPE.

However, I may decide to ignore his Facebook Friends Request because he hasn’t bothered to use my name OR no personalized friend request message… at least he didn’t poke me… ;P

Why would he even want to be my Facebook Friend if he almost certainly & obviously & unequivocally didn’t bother with checking me out first(not in that way, I so would have voted for **PROP 8)… and plus, I can’t see anything on his profile because of his privacy settings so why would I even consider adding him…? Ahhh, but thanks to Googling… but then again, his name doesn’t really show many listings… OH WELL! NeXt! ; P

Hmmm, back to the funding of the different candidates for the GOP & DEMS leadership… since Obama had LOTS of smaller amounts funneling in to his campaign would you find less hits on Obama supporters via FUNDRACE 2008 versus the stereotype of Republican Donors having lots of moolah and therefore you’d find a preponderance of Conservative Hits & $$ Amounts…?

Haha! I know, I know… what’s with the verbiage in this post… trying to sound more like apolitical pundit perhaps… mayhaps the indepth discussions of the Presidential Campaigns(I didn’t watch any of my own Canadian Prime Ministerial Debates… but I did vote!) has something to do with it or I’m just being silly… hint: it’s the later ; P

But I do know that it’s Time for Real Bi-Partisanship and Time to Put Country First.

You can also just go to FUNDRACE 2008 on HuffingtonPost where you’ll be able to Check Out Whose Presidential Political Campaign These Celebrities Have Financially Supported:

Why Huffington Post’s FUNDFACE2008 is so cool…

Want to know if a celebrity is playing both sides of the fence? Whether that new guy you’re seeing is actually a Republican or just dresses like one? If your boss maxed out at that fundraiser or got comped? Whether your neighbor’s political involvement stops at that hideous lawn sign?

FundRace makes it easy to search by name or address to see which presidential candidates your friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors are contributing to. Or you can see if your favorite celebrity is putting their money where their mouth is.

FundRace gives you the technology to do what politicians and journalists have been doing for years: find out where the money’s coming from, see who it’s going to, and solve the mystery of why that crazy ex-roommate of yours is now the Ambassador to Turks and Caicos.

Pretty cool, huh? Wait. I’m Canadian… pretty cool, eh? ; P

*Stuck with me this far? Good. The dude didn’t actually support Obama. He’s supported Joe Bidden, John Kerry and Jesse Jackson Jr. for Congress…

**Yes, I will be making a post about the issues behind PROP 8… ; P

God Bless,
Yoon

Hi Peeps,

Wow. 90 years since the official end of World War 1… the armistice that was signed on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month…

Maybe some of you recall reciting “In Flanders Fields” that famous poem penned by our very own Canadian Lt.-Col. John McCrae…

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

    — Lt.-Col. John McCrae

It’s the one day where even the anti-war protesters & “hippies” stay quiet…

God Bless the military!
Yoon.

Hi Peeps,

So I went out to sushi @ the local Korean run Japanese Restaurant that even plays korean pop(kpop)… but of course they only spoke English to us since they weren’t really sure if we were of the same ethnicity since we only spoke English… ; P

So as I was toasting my mom with the empty Saki bottle(no I wasn’t drunk, it was the small bottle that I shared with my mom) and said something along the lines of “Congrats to McCain for winnning…!” and my mom was like “No way…” ; P

And so we continued our earlier conversation from earlier in the day before she went and took my younger sister to the dentist…

It’s interesting that tonight they were talking so much about the first african-american being elected as President-Elect… um, he’s still half-white… and he’s not even American Black, he’s actually half African Black… half Kenyan.

I would think it would be awesome historically if there was a “real” African American running. One whose ancestors were born here in the US.

I’m wondering if this is the most racist election in recent history… blacks voting for a black President. And white people voting for a black president. Let me re-word that… Black people only voting for Barack Obama for being Black. And white people voting from some sense of guilt from whites’ past sins?

It’s a serious and legitimate question.

I heard this point from an American. He doesn’t call himself an African American & doesn’t refer to himself as a Black man, just American. He states that Martin Luther King’s hopes for equal rights for all men and women is dead. Because certain Americans will vote for Obama based solely on his skin colour(color for my American friends…; P)…

This isn’t really a civil Rights type of victory in my eyes. He’s not fully black. He’s not multi-generationally rooted in America(on the African side). Could you say that it’s HALF a Civil Rights Victory…?

I do make a distinction between Black Americans. Oh wait that’s not Politically Correct to say… African Americans. My bad. I make a distinction between them and African FOBs. <==what they used to call certain Asians back in the day... "Fresh Off the Boat".

I used to see all these Africans trying to look like the and pass as the people descended from the African slaves. By the way. Don't just blame the "whiteys" for Slavery in America. It's the Africans who sold their own African people to the white slave-traders. Think about that.

And did you even know about the WHITE people who arrested the WHITE slave traders and PAID to send those slaves back to Africa? You never hear about that now do you? Nope.

Back to the wannabe American Blacks... the born-in-Africa guys would hang out @ Metrotown(before it was called Metropolis) and try to act all Gangsta and emulate gang-bangers, rappers, you know, the stereo-typical black male in the US... it was funny.

I find it weird how the US Elections work... When you look at the Popular Vote versus The Electoral Votes... wow, can we say discrepency? It's so different than our system in Canada. Plus how every State is in charge of the way things are run with voting stations and what machines are used, etc.
Canada has a Federal Level way of doing our elections. A much better and smoother system for sure.

Now I am impressed at what Barack Hussein Obama was able to do. Bringing in mucho deneiro, beaucoup bucks, lots od money honey... you get the picture. Even with all the character issues. Like agreeing to public campaign financing & then pulling out of that agreement with John McCain. And his views on all the moral issues. And so much more. You know, all the issues that were brought up but the DNC & Obama constantly dismissed... many that were not answered satisfactorily.

I do wonder about what would have happened if there was no Economic Crisis, mortgage meltdown, etc.

I wonder if Jesse Jackson(did you see him all teared-up?) or Al Sharpton will relent with their rhetoric and rants versus "White America"? Or will they be even more emboldened and point out more and stir up more racial us versus them talk?

What will people think now that Obama - SORRY I skipped this part and now don’t recall what I was going to write here… OOPS!!! ; P

Sadly, race really should not matter. Maybe one day we will see that day when race really doesn’t matter. It will be about character. It will be about integrity. It will be about truth. It will be about things that really matter. But I really doubt it.

A funny yet sad statement that a French news woman(can’t recall her exact position or media expertise) but she was talking about how Europeans are seeing Obama as “The Messiah” and that the US must elect a Black President, basically to show the world that it’s not a racist country… Now her following statement is very telling… “We would never, ourselves, elect a Black President or Prime Minister”(paraphrased)…

Now that Americans have voted for a half-black President what will happen in the next Presidential Election? Will a Woman Win for the First Time? Canada’s has a female Prime Minister and England(UK) had Margaret Thatcher as their leader(Prime Minister) for ~ 11 1/2 years from 1979-1990. Is the U.S. next? Will it be Sarah Palin? That would be exciting. Clinton versus Palin in 2012? Guess Obama would have to really botch the job… or something whacked out happened within the next four years…

Now the thing ALL of us have to do(yes, even us Canadians) is to PRAY for Barack Obama. Pray for WISDOM. Pray for the Economy. Pray for Abortion on demand & partial abortions to be aborted(the only way this word should be used… to STOP something detestable). Pray that the right Judges are Appointed.

I wonder how many Americans know about the absolutely rich Christian History of the USA, a great Heritage to be proud of. God Bless America. Do you really believe this when you say it? Do you really want God to Bless America? Do you believe in God? Do you believe in what God holds as absolutely precious?

Have you read about the Founding Fathers? The ones who signed the Declaration of Independence?
The Framers of The Bill of Rights? The early settlers? the Pilgrims and The Puritans? What timeless values did they value?

Have you read the Constitution?

Have you ever wondered why there is so much going wrong with America today?

It goes beyond just who the current or next President will be.

Are you ignoring history? What made America great? Have the “modern” Americans learned any lessons from their history?

We are living in exciting times. May God Bless Us Everyone. And yes, even Barack Hussein Obama. ; P

God Bless America. And God Bless Canada. And God Bless You!

Love and all that good stuff,
Yoon

P.S. My mom just asked “how come all these people only have daughters, no sons…?” while Gov. Christine Gregoire is doing her “thank you” speech & introducing her fam… what is up with that? Where are all the politicians’s sons? Are they just having girls…? ; P

Hi, Yoonites,

So I went to Facebook and saw this reminder for my American friends…

and saw a friend’s status update which is REALLY quite funny… ; P

GO VOTE!! McCain voting polls are open today, Obama’s are tomorrow. Don’t forget!

And one of her friend’s(offender’s name whited out thanks to GIMP, didn’t want anyone searching for the guy and flaming him letting him know how truly unintelligent he is…) left her a really really STUPID wall post…

heather! your status just popped up on my home news feed and well… it made me sad that you’re living in such a backwards, topsy-turvey world in which you want to vote for john mccain. all because obama is like a quarter black (maybe); you should really get over your racism problems.

So apparently anyone who would want to vote for McCain is racist… so all the whites, yellows, blacks, browns, reds, & mixed people who don’t vote for Obama are racist… WOW.

That’s saying that if you vote for Obama you’re not racist… WOW. That’s some logic there kid…

I was talking to a friend earlier, told him about the “genius-boy”’s comment and then said…

“Yeah, you’re right I am racist… but not because he’s part-black but because he’s part-jew…”

<==And yes, this is making fun of that really asinine comment(previous block quote)… I believe in supporting Israel. My brother-in-law is part-Jew. Much love. Except for Sarah Silverman… hahahahha!

So yeah, I’m also anti-choice(since when is killing unborn/almost born kids a logical choice???), homophobe, racist(based on that quote…), anti-woman’s lib(because I am PRO-LIFE) & anti-helping-the-poor(because I don’t think we should tax away like mad crazy based on some arbitrary income level & re-distribute the money)… let’s see now… I’m backwards, a hate-monger, woman hater, and the list could go on forever…

Oh yeah, here’s a BIGGIE… I’m JUDGMENTAL. Oh my!

it’s really able to label someone & call them all sorts of things when you don’t want to confront the ISSUES. When you want to say anything about what someone believes in it all of a sudden becomes an issue of race… “You’re racist” or “You’re just trying to avoid the issue” <==Um, excuse me but that's actually what you're doing by calling(yelling?) out names.

Or if you talk to a Christian Homosexual and you don't even use Bible Verses to talk with him about the dangers involved with his lifestyle he'll blurt out "Your a homophobe", "You can't judge me", etc.

Look. I lived with a gay guy who was my older sister's pen pal from years before he just showed up to live with us for a while... he called himself a Gay Catholic... and would say "The Bible is not anti-gay"(paraphrased)... guess he's never really read it...

Well, I was going to write about my anti-feminism stance but I have to get ready to go out and eat Sushi with my younger sister & mom. Wow. Imagine that... I'm hanging out with family members that are women...(haha! that doesn’t really prove anything now does it? ; P)

Oh wait. I know what it’s like not to have money. It sucks. But don’t tell me that taking from the haves to give to the have-nots via some government sanctioned program(like raising taxes) is right. Look. Who actually gives the most? The rich or the poor? Who employs the most people? The rich or the poor? In these scenarios I guess the rich would be those making in excess of $250, 000/year(based on what I’ve heard about the coming(possibly) re-distribution of wealth)…

Would you rather be poor? Do you want to be taxed just because you’re making $250, 000+?

And hey. When your family or friends are in need do you help? How about helping the widows and orphans? The poor? what are you doing to help?

How about looking for a “hand-up” rather than a “hand-out”? You’ll get farther in life. And maybe when you change your focus & make more money you can help others by offering them a “hand up” too.

Look I know that there are times when people really do need financial assistance… welfware, being on the dole, etc. But I’ve also overheard a conversation like this one with two able-bodied “men” BOASTING about “I know how to play the game”… “Yeah, I know how to game the system too”(paraphrased)… and how people have been on welfare for generations and didn’t know any better… like one story of how a guy went to work for one shift(through some program) and didn’t show up again… he thought he was just supposed to wait for his welfare check… SAD!

Wow. So here I was blogging about how I’m racist and now you can see that I’m that and so much more…! ; P

Go ahead. Judge me all you want. I’ll love you anyways.

God Bless,
Yoon

Hi Yoonites,

It’s almost time for the President of the United States of America to be elected in three days time. I live in Canada and have found myself discussing American Politics. We just had our Nation’s 40th General Election for Prime Minister a little while ago(October 14th) & are going to have our Civic/Municipal Elections for British Columbia(voting for Mayors, Councillors & School Trustees) on the 15th of November… so LOTS of politics in the air… ; P

Voting for 44th President of The United States of America is Extremely Crucial for The Future of my family & friends, even up here in Canada. In fact, it will determine the course of the entire world… and think about the number of Judges that will be Appointed in the next 4-8 years… possibly three maybe four? Look. Do you want Activist Judges who keep “Changing The Rules” or those who really do put “Country First”?

John McCain’s campaign slogan has been “Country First” while Barack Obama’s has been “Change”…

So a real big question that you should be asking is “What Kind of Change?” I know that my mother and I have had ongoing debates about Barack Obama, Sarah Palin & John McCain… now I did help in re-electing Prime Minister Steven Harper so as you may expect if I were American I would be & Vote Republican… I am a CONSERVATIVE, NOT a LIBERAL. Where’s Joe Biden in all our conversations you may be asking? Well, he’s not really an issue in our talks…

Please really think about what will happen if either Presidential Nominee wins. What are their Views? What’s their Party Platform? What do they stand for? What are their Convictions?

I find it mildly funny & quite disturbing that SO many people who have said that they are going to vote for Obama can’t say WHY they are going to vote for him except to say “change”… but McCain supporters actually have real answers to why they are going to vote for McCain.

What Kind of Change? Even Obama’s supporters, fans, & followers… don’t know… they just want change. But what kind of change will they really get? Will they even be surprised?

I have questions about Obama’s past associations. But everything you try to say about them are dismissed as being a part of some right-wing “smear campaign” Why is the DNC(Democratic National Convention) & Barack Obama covering up his past? Why is everything sealed? Why not release information about his school papers. Isn’t it important to see what the potential next President of the U.S of A’s views were? Isn’t it important to see what affiliations and associations influenced him?

Isn’t it important to be an open book? Seriously. What’s he got to hide?

Now with that being said please read the following article, pray & vote.

I’m re-printing an article that James Robison has written titled… “What Kind Of Change?”

=====Start of James Robison’s Article What Kind Of Change?=====
It’s time to vote! Be sure to pray and participate in the election.

The call for change is not unlike the call from God to repent as
nations, communities and individuals. Throughout the Bible, God
calls on His chosen people (both Israel and the church) to repent.
Repentance is change. It is a change in direction, attitude and the
mind. Since we are promised change, we should ask if this is
the result of national repentance. Change should only come as the
result of wise choices based on sound principles.

I have deep concern for the nation that I deeply appreciate and love.
Does change mean increasing dependence upon government? Increased tax burdens? Continued spending beyond the budget and burdensome bail outs necessitated by foolish leadership and rampant greed? Will the free market remain free, with proper oversight, or be eliminated? Can government change the greed in men’s hearts and instill compassion? Will we change our view of innocent children as non-persons or further deny the right to exist for the convenience of self-serving indulgence? Will freedom be interpreted as the right to do what one wishes without boundaries or restraint? Will our justice system become the perpetrators of more injustice? What will be the effect of these promised changes? Will the media change its apparent mission to
destroy those with whom they disagree while slanting their reporting
in favor of their chosen people and principles? Will we stop using the
freedom to vote as a tool to manipulate the uninformed in order for
unprincipled people to take power? Will we change our republic into a
democracy run by mob rule?

It is disturbing to think that any of these things may become reality.
Yet, many of these possibilities are very real — some are already
happening. We have only one hope to avoid the catastrophic
consequences of foolish changes.

The true agent of change on the earth is the New Testament church.
This supernaturally-transformed body of believers, changed by faith in
a living Lord, must define and demonstrate life as it should be lived.
Not only has Jesus Christ set the example through His life and died to
make it available, He has also sent another of the same kind (the Holy
Spirit) to enable us to live what He taught.

The church was never meant to be a political power base. Scripture
makes it clear that “it’s not by might, nor by power, but by His
Spirit” that necessary change is accomplished. If ever the church
believes we can boast in our numbers and simply outvote the opposition
to bring change, we are deceived.

True change is the result of a personal spiritual encounter that
brings about a new beginning, with new purpose and new direction. We
are to be controlled and compelled by love, living with genuine
concern for the wellbeing of others, freely sharing the life we fully
experience. If Christians will begin by loving one another, then
caring for others and demonstrating the powerful effect of our faith,
people will be magnetically drawn to the One who is lifted up for all
to see. The church was never intended to be a politically polarizing
force. The church is to be a light, dispersing the darkness and
enabling people to see truth and the way to live. Committed Christians
will be good citizens and vote according to their convictions. Failure
to vote or a foolish, uninformed vote will prove costly. Wise
believers will always support foundational principles.

Government will be rightly changed by changed people living rightly.
Our nation was established upon the beliefs of people who had been
changed and affected by the power of the truth in the Bible. Good
government can only be established and maintained by people capable of governing themselves. Out-of-control people invite an ever-intrusive,
overpowering system of government. Politicians can talk about change
all they want, but positive change will only come when people have
heard the truth, seen it demonstrated and allowed it to have a
profound effect on their own lives.

I am for change — the change God promises if we will allow His Word
to rule in our lives. The problems we face as a nation will only be
solved when His kind of change occurs in each of us as individuals.
When the population is changed one life at a time, the effect of this
change will affect the much-needed change in government.

Here’s a quick checklist to decide how badly you need to read the book:
1. Are you making meaning?
2. Does your product jump to the next curve?
3. Is your product Deep, Intelligent, Complete, Elegant, and Emotive?
4. Do you have a mantra for what you do?
5. Do you have a 10-slide pitch with no font smaller than 30 points that you can give in 20 minutes?
6. Have you figured out a way to take your product to market with no budget?
7. Are you helping people who cannot help you?
8. Can you blow away an audience with a demonstration of your product?
9. Would you hire “imperfect” job candidates who love what you do as well as candidates who are better than you are?
10. Are you only asking people to do things that you would do too?

Scoring:
Number of “Yes” responses:
1-4: You not only need it, you should pay full retail and have it shipped overnight.
5-7: For $30, you can fix everything you missed. Isn’t preventing mediocrity worth $30?
8-10: You may not need to read the book, but you should buy it as a gift for people who don’t know as much as you do.

Grab your copy of Guy Kawasaki’s Reality Check: The Irreverent Guide to Outsmarting, Outmanaging, and Outmarketing Your Competition and let me know your thoughts.
