Hi Peeps,

Well I’ve just come home from eating out(well, about 15ish mins ago).

My mom called earlier today about taking my younger sis out to eat at a restaurant. Later on she mentioned something called Shabu Shabu…? Apparently my aunt went there and she liked it so off we went… it was next door to a Vietnamese place we’ve been to before.

So we go inside, the main dude is cleaning a table and days “Hi”. We say it back to him… and then we wait… so we get seated… and then we wait for a menu… “Sorry”.

A lady comes out to take our order. A very polite one.

The food was so-so.

We actually had to ask for the spoon/scooper/ladle while everyone else had one… I didn’t even notice until my mom said something about it… we ended up getting two, one was full of holes(to drain the soup)…

We’ll skip to the end.

The guy was walking everyone to the door and saying “Thanks”, “Bye” and whatever else in Chinese to others.

We waited again… for the bill…

let’s say there was a very generous tip BUT the guy didn’t say diddly and didn’t even take us to the door!!! He just went to the back…
